About 25% of the "Linux" News/Results in Google News Today Are LLM Slop, Almost 20% From the Same Rogue Operators of Slopfarms
Slopfarms are drowning out not only Google and legitimate sites. They also infest Google News, which was supposed to be curated or filtered for quality, originality etc.
Google News presents a result to this fake article from a fake author with a fake picture:
We assume this too plagiarises Phoronix. They keep doing it.
Google, which tries to market itself as an LLM giant, apparently fails to understand what's wrong with it.
