Open Source Initiative (OSI), Which Became a Propaganda Front of Microsoft and "Hey Hi" (Hype, Misnomer), Wants You to Forget These Scandals
5 days ago we wrote about the Open Source Initiative (OSI), stating we'd like to do a sort of recapitulation. We want to highlight some of the scandals that the Microsoft-controlled OSI wants everyone to forget - by deflection among other tactics - and hence assume to be "old" or "probably resolved". Age does not solve issues, it might obscure them however.
Back in February we heard from a reader that she had been contacted regarding OSI elections, citing multiple people on LinkedIn (Microsoft). Someone had the 'audacity' to criticise the OSI, so they suspended his membership. See, the OSI isn't open to constructive criticism.
After a deep dive into the OSI it was discovered there was an issue in their bylaws; the text says specifically and explicitly that it declares no members.
In the coming days and weeks we shall remind everyone that
1) the OSI fails to keep formal promises:
2) the OSI excludes candidates by lying about deadlines:
3) the OSI exposes the names of people in violation of Data Protection laws:
4) the OSI lies to the IRS:
A lot of these issues won't be set aside until there's a resolution. █
