This Saturday It's Gonna be 3.5 Years* Since Russia Invaded Ukraine. No Microsoft Protests Against Microsoft Having Provided Russia With Services.
"Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022," says IWM (Imperial War Museums).
This took more than 3 years:

Workers bringing ideology and politics to their employer/s may seem benign, but I know from experience that it's strongly discouraged. Even things like "brexit" were a no-go area where we worked, as some colleagues didn't share the views of management (Conservative), not to mention peers'. Selective politics typically means that the employer only permits the expression of particular views on particular topics or only allows discussion of particular topics (less controversial).
4 years ago the Microsoft-owned GitHub decided that firing Jews who complained about nazis would be reasonable (until public backlash) and apparently Microsoft does not mind pedophilia as long as it's done by very affluent people.
Then consider Microsoft's policies on Russia and China. In China, Microsoft has long censored search results for the Communist Party. People were harmed by this censorship.
Companies do not have consistent policies and enforcement of "corporate values" is somewhat of an egg salad. █

CORRECTION: I forgot to say "full-scale" in the title. I apologise for this oversight. 22 Aug 2025 - 18 Mar 2014 = ~ 11.4 years (since Crimea was invaded). Kind of important. Even in 2014 Microsoft and its staff could react (but did not).
