Today we found a good portion of legit news, being a Tuesday (tomorrow it peaks, being a Wednesday).

Among the news we also found fakes, albeit not so much today. Not as many as on most Tuesdays.

This is what linuxsecurity.com published about a DDoS attack. This is LLM slop:

We've also just found slop and spam disguised as a "Linux" article in LinuxBSDos.com, a site that went astray/wrong earlier this month [1, 2] and maybe last year as well (temporarily at least). This is a fake article promoting gambling:

In Google News, a notorious slopfarm is promoted which amplifies this ridiculous FUD about "Linux":

This was mostly promoted by Microsoft connected sites. It's just social engineering.

Last but not least, Google News promotes this fake article - fake text, fake image, fake author:

How long for will Google allow this site to game Google News? It's flooding everything with fake articles generated by bots. █
