Downplaying the Impact of "UEFI 9/11" is a Losing Strategy
We're currently - despite being on holiday - running a series about what will happen on September 11 or shortly after it (see Part I and Part II). The problem is already acknowledged by Microsoft staff and there has been media coverage about it. Nobody is denying that it is a problem.
Our prediction is that Microsoft mouthpieces and evil tongues will try to shoot the messengers and create distraction/s. Diverting attention is a PR tactic.
Where (or when) such distractions are detected, we'll illuminate them and discuss - perhaps in greater depth - what they're hoping to distract from.
Some time tomorrow I'll make time to publish "The UEFI 9/11 - Part III - Chaos is Scheduled to Happen Second Thursday of September" (we won't publish much whilst on holiday).
Good campaigners don't get emotional too easily; they keep focusing on the core issues, again and again (like RMS in the face of horrible personal attacks). DARVOing them would only ever backfire. █
