Slopwatch: Google News as FUD Vector Against Linux and Plagiarism Enhancer, Serial Slopper (SS) Uses LLMs to Googlebomb "Linux"
The week has just begun, but we already have a fair number of slop examples.
Boosted by Google News on a Sunday, Red Hot Cyber is recycling old FUD for some newer slop with LLMs and slop image generators:
We already debunked this before. It's not an issue in Linux, it is social engineering.
And a pair of intertwined slopfarms (boosted by Google News today):
Google News is also boosting several fake articles with totally unrelated slop images:
A fictitious face, fake image, fake text (LLM slop), and fake author. As fake as it can get.

The Serial Slopper (SS) didn't skip a beat. Seeing a couple of new distro release, he sent some prompts to LLMs and other slop generators:
Slop destroys the Web not just by screwing with search engines and helping plagiarists. It's also responsible for de facto DDoS attacks, as pointed out before the weekend by SJVN at The Register MS. SJVN keeps missing the point that his employer (publisher) takes money to promote this very bubble that's destroying the Web. █
