India is Back to Windows 8 (Market Share Down to 8%) as Android Soars to a New Record High

Judging by the preliminary new data from statCounter, low is not low enough for Windows, so it's falling even lower:

We've been seeing many discussions online this past week about India in relation to China's "SCO" (not the company). Many point out that software firms outsourcing to India turns out to be a national security mistake; Modi makes India a firmer force in BRICS and forges alliances with China, hugs Putin etc.

For Microsoft, India is a runaway market. █
