August 8 2025: Red Hat's Latest Talent Hunt, Day Ahead of Mass Layoffs, is Yet Another Microsoft Executive

Hours/minutes ago in IBM layoffs forum:

It's now said that "the whole runtime and middleware division from Red Hat is moving to IBM," just as we noted here months ago. Some people aren't moving but leaving. It is a method. Some workers "get the message".

What's curious about the above comment/s is, there seems to be a drive to hire cheaper staff, and it may be led by somebody Red Hat hired from Microsoft. █
