"Many of the Red Hat Employees Are Still Looking for Work"
Hours ago:
It's not too hard to understand why people "get the message" from IBM, seeing reduction in staff and tasks associated with maintaining Fedora, Linux etc.
IBM has actually "pinched" workers out of duties such as compiling commonly-used Free software, instead offloading the task to developers (not packagers) with bloatware like Flakpaks.
Divestment moves [1, 2] are rightly interpreted by many workers as a sign that it would be wise to "move on".
Shame on IBM's CEO and his lousy buzzwords agenda. Hailing from a military family (both parents), he's busy appeasing dictators and people who assault women. █
