We Covered UEFI 'Secure Boot' Scandals. The World Listened.
This past week we've published many articles, as noted last night and later on as well. We still managed to squeeze in a 20-page application to the Court too (these take a long time to prepare and of course research prior to preparation). That application requested transparency and consideration - in an upcoming UK High Court Hearing - of admission by Garrett that a third party funds his SLAPP against my wife and I. That article got 4,850 requests recently... despite its age (11 days ago). But the top articles dealt with UEFI 9/11. Part 7 got 7,352 requests, with 6,839 for part 8, part 9 trailing at 5,005; 4,301 for part 4, 4,128 for part 3, and 4,609 for this article on dual-boot issues.
It seems clear that people pay attention - that's the sort of thing that truly troubles Garrett. He moans via his lawyers that people pay attention and as a result they resent him. Nobody has a right to be respected and loved. He profited from harm. About a week ago people saw UEFI 'secure boot' was basically a ticking time bomb and about a day ago I explained what Garrett did to my family for merely explaining UEFI issues. That article got 3,277 requests.
UEFI 'secure boot' has been getting a ton of negative press lately, even among security pros, Windows users, gamers, and so on.
Good. To hell with UEFI 'secure boot'. It should be abolished or at least turned off, universally. It adds absolutely nothing of practical benefit. One might call it a "corporate conspiracy against computer users" (and their rights). The assault on critics is just a scandal on top of existing scandals [1, 2, 3]. █
