Microsoft Won't Cooperate in Trying to Tackle EPO Corruption (Microsoft Profits From This Corruption)
"As I wrote in Digital Vegan, the 'Arab Spring' was an anomaly, we cannot use the tools of social media and the internet for social change because they are owned and controlled by the enemies we seek to remove." -Andy last night
The EPO's Union, or the SUEPO TH committee in this case, believes that expressing dissent against the Office (including preparing documents, organising meetings etc.) can be done in Microsoft platforms, i.e. the facilitators of the current corruption. That's not a wise approach. We said this many times before. They tend to also use proprietary Microsoft formats, which aren't helpful to many, and that's putting it exceedingly politely.
Earlier today they circulated a message (with a Microsoft logo!) which said: "Dear members, dear colleagues, As part of our ongoing efforts to increase the visibility of our Union within the EPO, we invite you to make a small but meaningful contribution. Attached, you will find a selection of MS Teams backgrounds. By using one in your next virtual meeting, you demonstrate your support for the Union, your commitment to your rights, and your pride in being part of our collective. We also have SUEPO stickers available! You’re welcome to stick them on your nameplate, nametag, laptop, tablet, phone, badge, locker, vehicle — wherever you like to show your support. If you’d like some, send us an email at [redacted]."
MS Teams is proprietary spyware working against the Union (SUEPO). Using it outside the Office is unwise, even if many people already have this piece of malware installed on a skinnerbox or a PC. It makes lists of people and Microsoft is notorious for sharing such lists with "parties of interest", such as "the f--king president" (this is what António Campinos calls himself).
Also, from what we can gather, half of them interject unrelated politics (where none of that politics is required and may in fact backfire; the EPO's management already weaponises that).
Here are their suggestions:

Remember that resistance to corruption at the Office cannot come from or through Microsoft because Microsoft is part of this corruption. It has long benefited from preferential treatment at the Office. It even controls what the EPO staff and jurists type.
Use something like BigBlueButton, Jami, Ring, and Jitsi instead. █
