The New Head of OSI is an "Hey Hi" (AI) Obsessed Person

So the Microsoft-sponsored hype (endorsing mass plagiarism) will likely carry on, uninterrupted

The OSI has a new (interim) head; Bryant's latest 3 blog posts for OSI, all posted in 2024, were always just "hey hi" dross:

33 times "AI", "Open Source" just 8 times.

61 times "AI". Yes, 61!!!

16 times "AI".

That's all, we are not omitting anything.

Needless to say, when Bryant says "AI" that doesn't mean AI, it means slop like LLMs. Bryant isn't very technical (Bryant studied journalism, nothing technical). It's a suit working for other suits.

Bryant's whole identity in Microsoft (LinkedIn) is based on "hey hi" hype; it's engraved into the avatar:

So they try to replace "Open Source" with slop; such openwashing benefits the Ponzi scheme [1, 2] of the true masters of OSI, those who account for over 95% of its revenue. █
