Brett Wilson LLP Has Just Been Sued (by Their Own Clients!)
In 2022 Brett Wilson LLP (the 'assassins') got a couple of new clients. It was in QB-2022-000181 (Queen's Bench, now known as King's Bench, or KB rather than QB).
Vladimir and Alla Yanpolsky got sued by Global Processing Services (UK) Limited, represented by a large law firm (Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe). That did not go well for Brett Wilson LLP. Just over a year later Mr Justice Lavender (Master Lavender) handed down an Order and the case was concluded with this unfavourable judgment. The text is in the public domain, revealing Gervase de Wilde (5RB) as the counsel/barrister.
Brett Wilson LLP apparently did such a poor job (or, as usual, picked such terrible clients; we heard this almost 2 years ago) that they got laughed out by ICO (UK Information Commissioner’s Office) or by an opposing counsel. As a report by Lexology put it: "A High Court judge has granted an injunction application against a convicted criminal and his wife who had threatened to illegally disclose a fintech company’s data to individuals they wrongly claimed were the victims of a data breach."
Last week we mentioned that Brett Wilson LLP has a habit of taking on (as clients) people charged with serious offenses. Their aim is to basically misuse media lawyers for censorship - to hide what it is that they did.
But here's where it gets interesting.
A few days ago their own clients sued them! Vladimir and Alla Yanpolsky sued Brett Wilson LLP in BL-2025-001167 at the end of last week.
We don't know the details, but we know this will occupy a lot of this firm's time and cost it money that it seems not to have. Maybe the 'Hulk Hogan of UEFI' can get his Sugar Daddies to send some more Wilson's way. █
