The Next Wave of IBM/Red Hat Layoffs Being Discussed Already
There are layoffs (RAs) planned again at IBM's Marketing, Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), or MCC for short (not the other MCC, the first GNU/Linux distribution). That's according to these rumours, which say it'll likely happen weeks from now:
Remember that there may no longer be such a thing as "Red Hat layoffs" because of the bluewashing [1, 2]. We saw very few articles about this and one YouTube video from a GNU/Linux vlogger mentioned it in passing earlier this month. It's all happening rather quietly.
Red Hat is sort of disappearing the way Tivoli did. There will be PIPs, RTO, and relocation orders. Many will simply resign. █
