Look Ma, No "Cloud"
So far this year we've had an almost perfect uptime (probably better than 99.99%) and all red lines have vanished from the above network status page, which assesses the server in London.
Meanwhile, the machine I am typing this on passed 650 days of uptime (earlier today at around 9AM).

To be clear, "bubi" is the name of the elephant on the right. No sexual connotation there. We've long supported Bubi's charity.
Some time soon we'll need to install and boot into a new kernel. The main negative impact is IRC downtime (about 60 seconds); our IRC network is managed by only one machine, so there's no load-balancing or HA. Some IRC clients do not reconnect automatically. █
