GAFAM, which we co-coined (with Julian Assange), is sort of outdated because Google wants to be known as "Alphabet" and Facebook pretends to be "Meta" (like MATA), based on the hype wave that went nowhere (they've since then replaced "metaverse" with "hey hi"). These companies, to Free software at least, are at best leeches. To society they're a greater menace than anything Nazi Germany had (or the Stasi after that). They're instruments of suppression that sponsor the oppressor. We must all view them and treat them accordingly. The sooner, the better. █
