Microsoft 'Secure Boot' and Shim as Barrier or Obstacle to New GNU/Linux Users Trying to Escape Microsoft
Just as intended all along.
Just like "9/11 deniers" (or "truthers"), there are also "'Secure Boot' deniers" out there. They try to pretend all is fine after a certificate's expiry (on 9/11/2025) and people are not having issues (or hardly anybody reports these). We wrote about this yesterday and earlier today.
The above forum message is hours old. Many people don't ask online. They just give up. Even if they have a Reddit account, they'll say nothing.
"'Secure Boot' deniers" love silence.
Since truth is hard to handle, they then (simultaneously) look for rich sponsors to 'assassinate' people - even on holiday - who merely explain what's happening (and have done this for 13 years already). █
