Almost Half of the FSFE's Money (the Fake 'FSF', Misusing the Brand) Comes From Vodafone
Vodafone is known for all sorts of bad things, including corruption and human rights being flagrantly violated. 'FSFE' isn't even meant to be called that; it's misusing the name "FSF" and exploits a confusion. In recent years the Linux Foundation took some money from Vodafone [1, 2, 3, 4] and in the absence of funding limits it seems like 'FSFE' does what the OSI did with Microsoft; about 50% of its money comes from one single corporation:
Of course Microsoft is still there as a sponsor this year. It was also a top sponsor last year.
That money always comes with strings, even if they're invisible to most of us. In Europe, Microsoft bribes politicians now [1, 2]. It is "worth the money". █
