After Killing OpenSource.com, IBM ('Red Hat') and OSI Told Us OpenSource.net Would Replace It (But That Didn't Happen)
It has not published anything in months and it's sponsored by Cisco now:
The social control media account has not been active for nearly a month, and it links to months-old articles:
The head of the Open Source Initiative (OSI) has left after a considerable number of blunders. The OSI's blog - nowadays composed mostly by Microsoft - has been silent since then (over a fortnight) and OpenSource.net - not OpenSource.org - is virtually dead. Even its social control media activity (or interaction on it) is nearly over, just a couple of years after IBM ('Red Hat') killed OpenSource.com.
Do not assume the companies above (Cisco, IBM, Microsoft) mind it; to them, the concept of software freedom is just something that "gets in the way" of their business.
The OSI did a good job promoting the hype and Ponzi scheme of "hey hi" for almost 3 years while it took money from Microsoft to do this (to help Microsoft in court). Now it's time to move on, perhaps tarnishing the "Open Source" label some more (for whatever sponsor wants this). The new (but interim) OSI head isn't technical and fancies the concept of "hey hi" plagiarism. █
