The Free Software Foundation Starts Fund-raising for 40th Anniversary

New pop-up 2-3 days ahead of the 40^th anniversary event:

There is no progress bar this time around (no numeric goal or any graphics), at least not yet. But the guardian of software freedom asks users of software - i.e. pretty much everyone out there - to 'chip in' and support users' rights.

We plan to publish a number of articles about software patents and other matters we 'specialise' in for this occasion (the coming weekend). Things will be calm anyway [1, 2], so we also plan to test a new version of R.R.R.R.R.R. (software).

We've meanwhile received some more good news and we plan to focus on publishing more, not just here but also in the sister site.█
