Brett Wilson LLP Getting Sued by Its Very Own Clients, a Legal Story That Has Made the Mainstream News (Law360)

Law360 or Law.com are about as mainstream as one can get in that "sector" (litigation 'industry')

Ex-IT Exec Sues His Lawyers After Losing Hacking Case

We previously covered Brett Wilson LLP getting sued. The firm itself got sued. By its own clients. It must be serious because Brett Wilson LLP is seeking the help of a very large law firm (unlike itself) to defend itself from the claims [1, 2, 3].

My wife keeps saying that Brett Wilson LLP is very evil, hence it also chooses evil clients. Heck, some literally strangle women in the United States. Why does Brett Wilson LLP even chose to work for such people??? They're monsters. What does that say about this law firm? So much misogyny [1, 2]. And even clients that sympathise with terror groups.

As a blogger put it a few days ago: "What many fail to grasp is that the world is not the United States. Not every country follows the same rules and laws. In some European countries, even true statements can be actionable if deemed harmful to a company's reputation. The burden of legal costs often falls on the defendant, regardless of the outcome. Truth is a defense, but it's an expensive one."

Well, it is the moral thing to do. Women got hurt. We stand by them.

As we explained yesterday, we still have a plan to be compensated and it's on track because their client admitted there's a shady third party funding their (public) parties to attack our GNU/Linux sites. The law firm refuses to deny that. So it is a lot like Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) and billionaire Thiel. And "when mentioning Terry Bollea's stage name," some reader reminded us, "it is essential to connect it to shutting down Gawker as a proxy for [gay] Thiel" (Thiel was correctly named as gay by an ex partner, not in a negative context at all, and Thiel knew he could not sue Gawker for truth, so instead he chose to adopt/bankroll Bollea in a 'kamikaze mission' with papers as a weapon).

What we have here are Microsofters (yes, Microsoft salaries too) spending close to a million dollars just to fling 3,000+ pages or about 10 kilograms of papers at us. They recently accelerated their "paper Jihad"... in effect compensating for a lack of merit with efforts to drown out the other side, as well as judges (who cannot possibly read so many pages).

Courts must not tolerate this; the SRA is just trying to keep up (so many pages!) and it's already understaffed.

The 'assassins' (the SRA uses the term "hired guns") at Brett Wilson LLP must think this is "funny". They game the system.

We'll continue to explain what they did to us for nearly two years already and "it helps people with context," a reader said, "and to see the bigger picture".

The UK law will need revision and we'll spend years on the matter: (we're patient enough to get it all done, in due course)

The harsher and crueler they get, the more we'll have to show and write about. So their tactics and antics will be an own goal. There are already plenty of examples where they lie to Judges and to the Court. There's nothing "funny" about that. And they'll pay the price for each lie told.
