EPO Staff Can Go Listen to Richard Stallman Next Week in Munich (Technical University of Munich, Rudolf-Diesel Hörsaal (MW2001) on Campus Garching at 18:00)
"The talk is open to the public and attendance is free. Registration is not required."
In 7 days from now (next Tuesday) Dr. Stallman will be giving a talk in the Technical University of Munich, as noted here before [1, 2]. In the past, Dr. Stallman joined forces with EPO insiders in his campaign to reform or fix patent scope. Here are some relevant articles:

Dr. Stallman has long been focused on quashing patents on maths. He's not some kind of anarchist trying to "smash the system" or kill all patents, which he emphasises are different from trademarks and copyrights (which he does not oppose).
As Benoît Battistelli and António Campinos have been faking "growth" using European software patents - i.e. patents which are both illegal and undesirable - we need a "pushback" or belated "correction".
We plan to remind Dr. Stallman to mention patents in his talk. Maybe some patent examiners can and will attend. Remember this is the guy who started GNU/Linux 42+ years ago in Boston. He deserves far more recognition than he has earned. His "nonconformist" views make him unlikely to ever receive some "Nobel" award for corporate hype. █
