Richard Stallman welcomed by students in the Aula Magna for the conference entitled "Free/Libre Software and Freedom in the Digital Society"The founder of the Free Software Foundation and leading developer of the GNU operating system met with Sapienza students as part of the "Distinguished Lectures" organized by the Department of Computer Science
👨🏫 After being introduced by greetings from Rector Antonella Polimeni, Deputy Rector for Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity Leonardo Querzoni, and student and department representatives, Stallman explored the importance of free software in today's digital society, a unique opportunity to explore fundamental issues regarding freedom and access to technology for the entire community
