We waited for a while to say this, now it seems conclusive
Slopwatch seems to have an effect. And having an online presence, with more people exposed to common culprits, it's well worth the effort. Sites don't want to be stigmatised for being LLM slop (where they actually do that and when they 'experiment' with the paradigm), so they walk back to where they came from.
