Today (a Day Before Richard Stallman Talk at TUM) There's a Patent Propaganda Event at TUM
Perhaps an opportunity for Dr. Stallman to rebut this "invention to patent" nonsense/fantasy (conflating monopolies with innovation):
Tomorrow, in a very large lecture hall ("Rudolf-Diesel" Hörsal "MW 2001") where Dr. Stallman already spoke back in 2012, there will be a two-hour talk about Software Freedom. Later today, however, the University is acting like a mouthpiece of the nearby EPO, which forces examines to grant European software patents - i.e. patents which are both illegal and undesirable - in order to fake 'growth' (where none exists).
We hope that EPO staff will attend the latter talk. Many seats are available. He will probably mention slop, which the EPO illegally interjected into legal workflows (Microsoft US can bypass judges' feelings/instincts in Europe). █
