According to analytics.usa.gov, which digests and parses user-agent strings in Federal sites in the US (it says "Total Views 1,499,110 in the last 30 minutes", so it's a very large data set), GNU/Linux has a considerable share and it is growing.
Even statCounter sees a lot fewer Windows users this month: (US data)
