Whatever "the cloud" is, we're not interested. We have a virtual machine on a physical server with local storage. It's based right here in the UK and so far this year the only downtimes we had were about a minute-long and due to reboots. To keep the kernel up to date...
With about 11 weeks left in the year, we don't have a reason to suspect this will change.
To us, "the cloud" looks like a lot of overpriced, over-complicated hype. We never used "the cloud". █
