IBM's Bluewashing of Red Hat Means the Layoffs Are Silent, Barely Reported
A day ago: (one of many examples, most keep quiet as well)
Last week we revisited the bluewashing of Red Hat because it seems clear people are leaving or getting pushed out. Many now call themselves "IBM" (the real owner that pays all the salaries) and hours ago someone wrote about IBM: "Everybody in Consulting is a Partner, Senior Partner or Senior Senior Senior Partner - Cut this by 75% and get rid of most of the lipstick crowd - return to growth - not that hard!"
The context of this remark was IBM shutting down offices and even demolishing its historic sites because buzzwords and pump-and-dump in Wall Street matter more, apparently. Even at Red Hat.
Don't wait to hear about "Red Hat layoffs". They're "IBM RAs" and they happen all the time. There are other culls.
Johnnie Jones does not say why he "left" or where he goes next, so it is possible he was pushed out like many other people at IBM/Red Hat. █
