All We Want to See is Any Form of Accountability in Europe's Largest Institutions
Because people at the top of institutions should never be above the law!
At the EPO, sober managers seem like a scarce resource. In the Benoît Battistelli days we heard about drunken management and since António Campinos came (despite a lack of background in patents) we kept hearing about substance abuse, not just alcohol but also cocaine. In recent weeks those who had spread those rumours got vindicated; the "circle" of Campinos does in fact do cocaine.
At the moment we want to see if EPO managers are, in fact, made accountable for their actions. So far the EPO has been "Schtum" on the matter, hoping that the story will just "go away" or become "old news".
It is alarming that Europe tolerates criminality at the highest of levels, with precursors regarding ramifications made abundantly clear across the Atlantic. █
