We Don't Compete, We Analyse and Report
Our principal goal is to inform people (and enable people to find information)
This site was never a business and it was never an "enterprise" (to use a term our enemies attempted to use in order to mislead a judge). It'll never profit, it'll only lose money (hosting bills) and this is OK. We don't stand to profit from admonishing anybody. We do not look for sponsors, unlike other people (our enemies who try to bankrupt us into silence).
We are not trying to go "viral" through dumb, unadulterated so-called 'social' so-called 'media'; we reject the very concept of such platforms, wherein defamation is never-ending, including defamation against yours truly.
Speaking out to power (or about power) is not an heroic act, but it's not trivial either. It generally requires the expectation of 'blowback', revenge, retaliation/reprisal/retribution, and casual muzzling attempts. That's just how the world works and why the EPO recruited many lawyers to attack us, to no avail.
Techrights will never compete with the media. It might criticise some of the media, but Techrights does not sell anything. It does not even licence its work.
The reason Techrights earned trust from so many people - including those who put their life/career on the line (to leak vital information to us) - is its principled stance. Principles are so much better than money and they're something money can never acquire. █
