The Cocaine Patent Office - Part IV: European Patent Office to Come Under Media and Political Scrutiny
Political figures and media outlets have been contacted this week regarding the scandal which we said we would escalate towards the later parts.
In the previous part, which was published on Saturday 10 days ago, we showed that garments and wearable wrist stuff left no room for doubt. At least some EPO managers - people at the very top of the Office - are cocaine users [1, 2]. We just don't know how many. For a long time insiders have argued that the President himself sniffs cocaine, but they lacked substantiated/verified evidence of this.
Today, yesterday, and last week we turned our attention to more press reports in German. They served to confirm that the President's friend got busted. If he's still in the EPO, then it implies that cocaine use is tolerated at the very top tier of EPO management and contributes to the widespread sentiment (among "low-level" EPO employees) that many of the highest-level bosses are stoned.
Some of the questions to be passed to media and politicians include:
Is this cocaine user still the spokesperson of Europe's second-largest institution?Who brought him there?
How long have they known about his cocaine use?
Will the President of the EPO make a public statement about his right-hand man being a cocaine user?
How long has he known about this cocaine use?
What is the EU's stance on this scandal?
How many people like him already bought their job inside the EU?
We'll persist until we get some answers. Eventually we'll hear something back. Lack of answers from some representatives and media sites would also mean something. █
