Casual Reminder That We Also Publish GNU/Linux Stories and News Coverage in Tux Machines
Still 100% censorship-proof, shielding facts from thin-skinned abusers. The sister site extends this one and focuses on 'lighter' topics.
If the reason you're following this site is the site's coverage of Free software, then you ought to also visit Tux Machines and subscribe to the RSS feed. There are loads of original articles there (on average about 4 per day) and they focus on GNU/Linux. We were advised not to crosspost "too much", as crossposting may give the false impression that the sites are overlapping, the same, maybe identical content-wise and hence interchangeable.
In 2023 we split apart the sites even more than before, in effect offloading all GNU/Linux related news clippings to Tux Machines. This way we can better focus on producing original and sometimes exclusive reports.
We expect the sites' publication to further accelerate next year and more so in years to come. We're very invigorated and have hunger for stories that sources (including leakers/whistleblowers) suggest to us. As of today, on our twentieth year, we maintain a 100% censorship resistance track record; the same goes for protecting our sources, who risked so much (usually for no personal gain at all).
Without trust in our robustness (including fearlessness, not just success in protecting stories and sources) we'd not have come this far, nor would I devote my life to it.
People who visit Tux Machines will find that it gets updated all day long and all night long. There's almost always something new there. █
