Apparent Red Hat Layoffs in "AI" (Supposedly a Strategic Area for IBM)

This morning, my wife mentioned Red Hat layoffs in relation to something she had read yesterday and hours later another person asked me about Red Hat layoffs.
What is going on there?
Well, first it is imperative for us to clarify again, "Red Hat layoffs" are no more because Red Hat is now IBM (after completing the bluewashing). Some staff still goes by the "Red Hat" title and a lot of staff leaves quietly.
The above shows that even some so-called "AI" (we assume slop) people are shown the door. This one calls himself "AI Engineer" (whatever that means) "Exploring LLMs to build Enterprise AI-infused Apps" (we assume we refers to the crock of "vibe coding", whose usage steadily declines based on public metrics).
Well, he originally worked for Red Hat in Brazil (where IBM has layoffs this month) and then ended up in Texas, where a huge number of IBM staff reported got RAed. █
