Is the Lid Being Shut on Top of LLM Slop?
We were certainly going to do another Slopwatch, but as we noted yesterday, Google News hasn't much left of it (slopfarms), at least not so far this week. We found only one example under "linux" (Linux):
It's just a bunch of junk about "systemd", piggybacking Phoronix for the false appearance of "an article". Notice how the slop image has absolutely nothing to do with "systemd". This slopfarm cannot be bothered...
Elsewhere, the Serial Slopper is making slop about the availability of FreeBSD 15.0-RC1:

The good news is, some slopfarms we're accustomed to seeing active (not just in Google News but also RSS) all week long seem to have become inactive or a lot less active. It sort of "feels" like slop is becoming passé. The sooner, the better. █
