The Register's Latest Slop Spam, Another Paid-for Article to Inflate the Bubble
By David Gordon, whose latest half a dozen articles at The Register MS aren't really articles but "Sponsored Posts" (in effect ads disguised as journalism/)
Those who inflate the bubble that they wrongly dub "AI" (nowadays a surrogate or euphemism for "cleverly-disguised plagiarism") are sometimes profiting at the expense of those whom they help defraud (on behalf of their sponsors, the paymasters). There's nothing innocuous about this.
Remember when celebrities advertised FTX? Before the inevitable collapse? They used their perceived credibility (as actors and actresses, or as fictional characters, sometimes cast as superheros) to sell a scam to credulity-afflicted chumps. They profited from that. We know at whose expense. █
