Today is an Excellent Day To Remind People to Dump Clownflare (Cloudflare)
"Clownflare has been down much of the day," an associate said several hours after some of us had noticed the same and spoke about it in IRC. I spoke to some geeks about it over the telephone (several calls made) and they said Web site owners were complaining, some of them not even realising how Clownflare (Cloudflare) works or even that their sites were tied to Clownflare (Cloudflare).
One person told me the issues were apparently intermittent. Maybe it's even fixed by now, after many hours of severe issues.
If people think that Clownflare (Cloudflare) will improve uptime and make access better (it sure makes accessibility far worse), remind them of all the times this clown show goes wrong, taking down with it a lot of the Web. █
