Microsoft Acts Like a Company in an Economic Panic, Not a Valuable Corporation
"In May, the 60-year-old principal product manager lead said a new high-priority meeting appeared on his calendar out of nowhere," says this news article from moneywise.com, published 25 minutes ago by Danielle Antosz. Microsoft is laying off people in bulk, as many as 120 (or more) in "one go". That's not the sign of a healthy, solid, stable company.
It's a company that borrows about 2 billion dollars per month [1, 2]. Yes, borrows.
If you borrow or lose 12 billion dollars per quarter, what does that say about your future viability? Aside from all this insane bluffing...
Then Microsoft admits that its "investment" in "open" "hey hi" is a massive yoke and there's no sign of a turnaround. It's just a giant, massive bubble, and nothing will improve because it's based on a deliberate lie: "intelligence".
By our count, Microsoft already laid off more than 30,000 workers this year and it's not stopping a month ahead of Christmas.
Of course it's not helping that XBox already lost the "console(s) war" and is therefore just a financial liability at this point. They try to salvage and reuse/repurpose the brand name already. █
