IBM RAs Seem to be Impacting "AI" (Slop) Despite IBM CEO Saying It's IBM's Growth Area
"Senior AI Engineer" at IBM (2+ years) announced this an hour ago:
If IBM is implementing "RAs" (layoffs) to focus on "AI" or whatever, why does it lose people like Dr. Ghazaleh Kazeminejad, who claim to be in "AI"?
Something isn't quite right. We have made similar observations about Microsoft.
Well, this morning we mentioned* that just on or shortly before Thanksgiving IBM might unleash or let out dirty laundry such as RAs [1, 2]. This was a couple of hours ago in thelayoff.com: "Does anyone know when your upline knows who will be RA'd? I hear there is another layoff supposedly end of December and was curious when management will know."
Watch the response ("I hear it will be the week after Thanksgiving"):
Is another wave of layoffs afoot? █

* "Expect IBM and others to try to sneak out unfavorable announcements on Friday."
