Selective Enforcement, Selective Media Coverage - Part II - A Nose for the 'Wrong' EPO Drug Story
The (boat) strikes must worry the management of Europe's second-largest institution; it's a "supply chain" risk
In Part I, we showed a police report about an incident right next to the EPO, whose management must be very worried about the (boat) strikes.
There are strikes coming, there's a cocaine scandal, there's so much more going on.
News coverage from Munich, however, skips all that...
It's not that journalists there aren't aware. We've made them well informed, but they're cowards or submissive or bribed... or maybe their bosses are. So they won't talk about it. BILD certainly would not, even if it was right under their nose. No sense of smell for cocaine when that involves Germany's cash cow.
Hush hush, tap on nose. Sniff.
Readers have let us known about German press reports (copy of BILD article without a translation) on a "terrible incident" which occurred in the vicinity of the EPO Isar building. BILD's article translated into English:
[Disclaimer: THIS IS A TRANSLATION. ORIGINAL IN GERMAN.]Terrible attack in Munich
Teenager (17) blinded after being shot in the eye
The attack took place on Monday evening in an area adjoining the European Patent Office in Munich.

November 26, 2025 - 11:40 a.m.Munich – At first, it was “just” a meeting of four young men in an area adjoining the European Patent Office in Munich.
Then a dispute developed with horrific consequences for a 17-year-old: he lost his eye after being shot with a gun!
According to the police, the Bulgarian (17), who lives in Munich, and a Kosovar (19) with no fixed abode went into an area near Corneliusstraße at around 7:25 p.m. on Monday evening, presumably to initiate a drug deal, according to the line of investigation currently being followed by police.
Teenager hit directly in the eye
There they encountered two as yet unknown perpetrators. However, an argument broke out during the conversation. According to investigators, one of the attackers fired an alarm gun at the 17-year-old. One of the men also sprayed pepper spray.
“The teenager was shot in the eye,” a police spokesman told BILD, presumably with an alarm gun or a gas pistol.
This caused the eyeball to burst and the eye socket to fracture. As a result, he was completely blinded in his right eye.

Unknown perpetrators on the run
His companion was able to flee to a nearby store.
From there, witnesses called the police emergency number 110.
Despite a large-scale manhunt, the two unknown men were able to escape after using firearms and are still at large.
The 17-year-old was taken to a Munich hospital with serious injuries.
It is reassuring to know that our readers, rather than feel bitter about this, have a good sense of sarcasm or mild humour (though the incident is very serious, even tragic).
The EPO Isar headquarters in Munich featured as the backdrop to a "terrible incident" which occurred on Monday evening, they tell us. That was nearly a week ago.
As reported in an article authored by the Munich editor of BILD - Georg Gomolka [georg.gomolka@bild.de] - a dispute which ended with "horrific consequences" for a 17-year-old teenager took place in a location adjoining the EPO Isar headquarters.
According to BILD the incident occurred during a meeting between two teenagers and two unknown men. According to police the meeting appears to have been arranged for the purpose of initiating a drug deal.
The incident was also reported on by the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
"We are glad to see that BILD and other German media are prepared to report on drug-dealing incidents in the EPO's backyard," said the readers (yes, sarcastically).
"Unfortunately, when it comes to stories of "substance abuse" among the managerial caste on the 10th floor of the Isar building itself they prefer to maintain silence."
Official Munich police report of the incident was included in Part I.
Perhaps someone should get in contact with Georg Gomolka (politely, please) and ask for coverage about EPO cocainegate. █
