BetaNews Still a Dodgy Site, It Seems to be Partly Run by Chatbots

The site has since then changed to this:
BetaNews has changed. It now has a 'stripped-down' look with "AI" (slop) as a leading theme. Many, but not all, the images along the front page (and inside articles) are slop.
They lost all the site-specific customisation, they hide the version of WordPress that they use, and there are even broken links:
Some of the pages above are attributed to generic usernames. The company that took over apparently tries to "monetise" the domain with slop (but not everything is slop). █
