Just follow the money of the Ponzi scheme

What happens when former media sites have nothing else to cover except "AI" because their sponsors pay them to keep talking about "AI"? Welcome to The Register MS, sometimes composed by chatbots (LLM slop). Its previous manager (replaced this year) admitted to me that he knew "AI" was overhyped and basically nonsense. Now that a Microsofter runs The Register MS they push two bribed-for (fake) articles selling "AI PCs" (read: Windows) in a single day. Nobody can save this kind of media; after the "AI" bubble fully pops those publications will cease to exist. They already sold their soul to a pyramid scheme. And they're not alone. █
