Firefox has been outsourced to Microsoft by Mozilla and today in my feeds I noticed they've appointed a new chief. I was immediately sceptical and rather certain they'd go on and on about "AI" nonsense. They didn't disappoint and didn't fail to deliver (on my expectations).
Based on what they're saying, they double down on chatbots (Microsoft's, they baked these into Firefox, we assume in exchange for money from Microsoft) and they talk totally delirious nonsense. Sheer lunacy.
Firefox is in really bad hands. Move to LibreWolf immediately if you value what you do on the Web. █
