Slop is Rare by Now

posted by Roy Schestowitz on Dec 21, 2025

Heading in a better direction now, as people generally loathe slop and many won't even call it "AI" anymore

With 3 days left before holidays we're struggling to find "linux"-themed LLM slop.

Slop is not dead. Slop is still promoted by the media (it gets paid to do this!) and some of the media still uses LLMs. For instance, today we found this one:

Slop or fake: When Monitoring Turns Risky: SNMP Exposure in Linux Infrastructure

But that was it. Not even Google News had LLM slop when we checked. A year ago slop was so abundant that we did a whole series about it, and it was daily.
