More IBM Layoffs in India

The latest wave of RAs (there's another one starting soon) includes many workers of IBM in India. It's not as simple as "laid off to be replaced by an Indian", even if to many impacted it is a convenient and simplistic narrative.
To some people in Brazil it means everyone's job is terminated (all the "family") and in India some people's "last day" is Christmas Eve.
IBM is insensitive to have timed its RAs this way. But its CEO isn't Christian and isn't doing a good job, either. Workers at IBM hate him not for being Indian but (according to them) for being a pretentious, pompous fool who only cares about how much money he can hoard through bonuses, even at everyone else's expense. Similarly, his predecessor wasn't berated for being female but for turning the company into junk. █
