Fascination 2d6
Sometimes I wonder: Why am I so enamoured with 2d6 systems when most of the games I run use AD&D 1st edition, which I do not like at all? I mean, I use AD&D 1st edition because that's what the Wilde Gestade multi-referee game in Greyhawk uses. And it's the system Arden Vul uses. So this is why I use AD&D 1st edition.

Holidays
Enough to get us both dizzy. I then proceeded to clean the storage in the kitchen. Six milk crates full of recycling. It felt like someone was preparing for the end of the world. The whole house felt like that for the first few months after the separation.
Why are we keeping so much stuff around?
I then proceeded to burn all our 'fire starter' paper. Journals, notes, old invoices, a complete story of my past few years.

Mormonism: Notes Re Whitmer's "An Address to All Believers in Christ"
I want to emphasize that I'm not advocating for Whitmer's teaching, or eager to put him in a good light. But I gathered a few notes from the book which are highly relevant to the discussion of Mormonism.
Whitmer was one of the three professing witnesses to the golden plates of the book of Mormon. According to his statement (pg. 55) Joseph Smith had at one time (1834) ordained him to be his successor. After the death of Joseph Smith, many looked to him to become the new leader of the church, which he refused to do (pg. 28).
