Microsoft XBox Having a "Dog Ate My Homework" Moment: No New Console Until 3 Years From Now... Because "RAM Prices"
O really?!
XBox, the console, will probably be dismantled/scuttled very soon (production halted due to low demand and losses, unprecedented low availability). Even high-profile sites speak about it this week.
What does Microsoft say? Well, XBox is now a "PC" with "XBox" streams on it; Microsoft pretends that "XBox" is no longer a console; it tries to salvage the brand, seeing it's too late to salvage the console.
When the media asks Microsoft about the console Microsoft quickly responds with some vapourware (fictional theoretical product; or some handheld rebranded as "XBox", e.g. "ROG") and now we're told not to expect another XBox console... until 3 years from now. Who will ever remember this in 2028? Nobody.
But blame "RAM prices"... █
