IBM’s and Red Hat’s "Operation Evolution initiative" Just Long, Fancy Term for Bluewashing, Redundancies, Layoffs
Less than an hour ago:
Before "IBM’s and Red Hat’s Operation Evolution initiative" (the above reads like a script; others said the same today) some people had the same imposed on them around July, e.g.
A few minutes ago someone in Ireland (first language English) wrote: "Am excited to be starting my new job on the 5th Jan as a Principle Business Systems Analyst at Red Hat/IBM..."
Principle? Or Principal? Even his work history now says "Principle". Very bad typo to show in one's role.
Pushing "AI" at Red Hat (bubble, nonsense):
Earlier today we wrote 3 short articles about Red Hat, which as of today saw/sees many of its staff officially reclassified as IBM. Not everyone publicly announces this and there are many people at Red Hat who are smart enough to avoid social control media.
Once fused into IBM (bluewashing) the managers at IBMs can "RA" them or "PIP" them to death, as usual.
Louis Gerstner is dead, but the tactics of Gerstner carry on, unabated. Yet worse, Arvind Krishna now uses Gerstner - posthumously - to justify attacking the company's work and workers at the behest of Wall Street.
As it was put 14 minutes ago by Anonymous:
That Lou is "no longer here to defend himself" is one of the truest blessings the universe has to offer. Death comes to the kind and cruel alike. He was the latter sort.If Lou's sacrifice of 100k IBMers had actually "saved" the company it would have been worth it. But he didn't "save" IBM, he used its massive wealthy to create a vast financial engineering company that acts like a corporate raider - acquiring assets and then laying everyone off. And it is a company that continues to liquidate promised benefits to employees - first our pensions, our healthcare and even 401k matches. Like Lou, IBM is a net evil in this world.
Lou walked away with a $100M bonus, a private plane and a personal chef and continued to haunt ILC until they ended up renaming it after him. He got rich on the backs of IBMers and created the roadmap for offshoring all jobs to India. He personally benefited from theft of benefits and jobs and created an institution that does not innovate but destroys.
Hope you enjoy eternal damnation, you fu--ing piece of sh-t as-----h.
Gerstner is still alive, but he's shorter and more arrogant. █
