Xbox 360's Date Limit Is December 31 2025, Here's What'll Happen To Your Console
If you're still hanging onto your Xbox 360, you may experience some issues this week as the console's clock reaches its date limit. First released in 2005, the Xbox 360 housed countless all-time classics, but like every console, it was designed with a limited shelf life.
When you set the date and time manually, the Xbox 360's internal clock only goes as far as December 31, 2025 — i.e., today. You literally can't scroll down any further. Players have repeatedly raised concerns about this impending deadline, but as it turns out, the answer was right in front of us this whole time.
