In 2025 We Contributed to the Headlessness of the OSI, But It's Not Over Yet
By airing some 'dirty laundry' about the OSI last year we contributed to its current state: quiet, headless, unable to find a new head.
To be clear, we're not done with our OSI series, we're just observing the affairs there. Like the 'Linux' Foundation ("LF"), the OSI isn't what its name may seem to imply/suggest; the difference is, "LF" is a lot bigger and would take more effort to change/topple. For instance, it controls the mouth of Mr. Torvalds, who sees in SFC many of the same issues that exist in "LF" (but he would not dare speak the same way about his paymaster). █
