Slopwatch Still Dead, Not Enough LLM Slop About "Linux"

posted by Roy Schestowitz on Jan 02, 2026

So far in 2026...

In the past 1.5 days we've found no new examples of slop about "Linux" (or similar themes) in Google News or in RSS feeds, except for this one site:

Slop or fake: UFW: Important Hardening Patterns for Long-Lived Linux Servers

It's a pseudonym emitting LLM slop.

This other one from the same day is promoting back doors and kill switches connected to the NSA, which says it wants front doors for everything (not even concealing the true intent). Slop in support of snake-oil:

Slop or fake: NSA: Managing Secure Boot for Linux Against Bootchain Attacks

We cannot do Slopwatch with so little example-base. But this is the desirable thing.
